If bombs accelerate earthquake activity then this goes
against the data showing faults build up tension over time
and once the quake occurs it will be quiet till tension builds
up again. The tension is caused by plate tutonics (shifting
of earth plates).

The increased quake activity probably has another cause.
Of course, this is just opinion and opinions are not worth much.

Actually, there is evidence of human-caused quakes. One example is the quakes in the Denver area when Rocky Mountain Arsenal was injecting ugly waste water (from nerve gas production) 12,000 down into what turned out to be a fault.

I was in Boulder then and felt them, one something like Richter 4.5. A guy at USGS announced it; he was much attacked by colleagues until it was proved he was right.
